Company Portal on your Windows Device

Before you start:

The steps in this guide should be completed from your Windows 10 device, not from a computer.

This process will work best using 3G or 4G, please do not use UAL-WiFi.

If your device is new and you're setting it up for the first time, go to step 5.

If your device isn't new, start the instructions at step 2.

Start the instructions here if your device isn't new. (For new devices, go to step 5.)

From your device, go to Settings.

Tap Accounts, then Access work or school.

You will see the Access work or school screen.

If your account isn't listed here, tap the Connect button.

If your account is already listed here, go to step 8.

You will see the Set up a work or education account screen. Type in your University email address.

You'l be directed to a UAL sign in page. Type your UAL username and password then tap Login.

You'll see a confirmation screen once your account has been added. Tap Done.

You will be directed back to the Access work or school page where you should see your UAL account is listed.

Now go to step 8 to download the Company Portal app.

If your device is new, start the instructions here.

You can enrol your device as soon as it starts up for the first time. Tap Set up for work.

Tap Search, and type Company Portal .

From the list of results, select Company Portal and tap Install.

Open the app. Press Set up for work.

This is a standard message - don't worry! Click Next.

You will see the Let's get you signed in screen. Sign in with your UAL email and password.

You'll be asked to sign in again because of our federated login system. Just enter your username and password this time.

On the Help us protect your account screen, please choose a verification option. The application uses this to authenticate who you are.

You will be asked to set a PIN code. Please keep your PIN secret.

Intune will download some necessary apps to your phone.

Once it's finished, tap Next to activate your device.

We're nearly there! You just need to install the Company Portal app.

Open the Windows Store app and search for Company Portal .

Install the Company Portal app. Make sure it's the app made by Microsoft.

You'll be asked to authenticate the app. Use your UAL email address and password to sign in.

You are now enrolled!
