Introduction

  1. Before you start:
    • Before you start:

    • Make sure that you finish enrolling once you start the steps. If you start but don't finish, it might not work if you try again later.

    • The steps in this guide should be completed from your iOS device, not from a computer.

    • Make sure you have a good WiFi connection.

    • The app needs to use Safari to enrol. If you've blocked Safari on your device, please unblock it.

  2. Open the App Store. Download the Microsoft Intune Company Portal app. Open the app, enter your University email address and password.

    • Tap Sign in.

    • You will be prompted to enrol your device.

  3. On the Company Access Setup page, tap Begin. You will see the Why enroll your device? screen.  Tap Continue.

  4. You will see a list of what University IT Services can and can't see once you've enrolled your device. Review the list and tap Continue.

    • On the What comes next? screen, read about what happens during enrollment, then tap Enroll.

  5. On the Install Profile screen, tap Install.  You might be prompted to enter your passcode. Then tap Install again to confirm. Then tap Install again to confirm.

  6. The Warning screen will appear. This is standard message - don't worry! To check what University IT Services can and can't see once you've enrolled, go back to Step 4.

    • Tap Install to indicate that you've read the warning.

    • The Remote Management pop-up will appear. Tap Trust.

  7. The screen will change to show that the profile has finished installing.  Tap Done. An Enrolling Device message shows on the screen.

    • You will be asked if you want to open the page in the Company Portal. Tap Open.

  8. You will see the Company Access Setup screen. If prompted, follow the on-screen instructions to meet the compliance requirements.  You will return to the Company Access Setup screen.
    • You will see the Company Access Setup screen.

    • If prompted, follow the on-screen instructions to meet the compliance requirements. You will return to the Company Access Setup screen.

    • Tap Continue.

    • You will see the Company Access Setup Complete message. Tap Done.

    • Your device is now enrolled in Intune! You will be taken back to the Company Portal app.
